I have my work laptop that has one proprietary port for charging, one hdmi port and three usb-a ports. I am currently using a usb splitter (the splitter has all usb-a ports and one usb-c port for charging if necessary when using devices that require more power) connected to my laptop and gaming pc, so i can switch my keyboard and mouse to the appropriate device.
My laptop is currently connected to my 27" monitor in extended desktop mode, while my PC is just using the 27" monitor (i only use one screen when on my gaming PC). I have a spare 21" monitor hooked up beside it, which i’ve turned off but it only has one HDMI port, connected to my gaming pc (for when I need to get into the BIOS).
I would like to setup my laptop in extended desktop mode to connect to my 27" monitor and 21" monitor (so 3 screens are being used in extended desktop mode), while also having my 21" monitor connected to my gaming PC (for when i need to use two screens when gaming).
I need advice on which splitter/device i should get so i can have this setup, while eliminating the need for me to use my current usb splitter (less clutter on the desk). Which adapter should I get to have this setup?
