I was watching JJs podcast with Haliburton, which I think came a few nights after we played them.

He talks about how our defense is worse without jrue (obviously) but he said our POA defense isn’t there anymore or atleast not as good as it was with jrue.

What can we do to change this? He pointed out we went to zone after their hot start and he said that wasn’t really what affected them it was just more of them missing shots.

I’m not sure why we have players now calling this out but Griffin is still starting Beasley. Should we try Marjon or Ajax starting for the extra defense?

Also a funny clip was they were talking about the soft ejections to start the season and he said he kept hearing “y’all are gonna get the angry Giannis now” and he said “okay let’s see” and then he drops 54 and he said “okay now I’m a fan of just let them mean mug and not T them up”

But I really think we need to change the starting lineup and I’m not sure exactly who we can put there to fix it.

Also he said “Boston, Philly and Denver are the teams to beat so kinds throwing shade at Milwaukee imo

AJax will hopefully be the long term solution at 2. He seems like a perfect fit next to Dame. Griff is smart to ease him in slowly. MarJon should be in the rotation and maybe get more minutes than AJax but he isn’t a 2.

Giannis needs to adapt. He will score points but the Bucks offense doesn’t make sense running through him at the top of the arc. He needs to focus on setting solid screens, rolling to the basket, getting back in transition, making the right pass on time, and boxing out. He has been mediocre at best in all those categories so far this season. Time for him to build good habits. If he does that he will score 28+ pts on much better efficiency.
