Kyler injures knee while scrambling after pocket collapses
Now with Joe Burrow having a season ending injury(again), people can stop using the argument that the Bengals made a SB without a line, therefore it is ok to rely on Kyler’s athleticism to make up for poor pass pro. Considering how Kyler tore his acl last season, and the long history of QBs with poor line play, I’d say this is faulty logic.
I understand wanting MHJ and corners, but we’re desperate for impact players on our line today. This should’ve been done 4 years ago after we drafted Kyler. We don’t have time to spend mid round picks and see if they pan out. Kyler turns 27 next August, and we’re getting dangerously close to sending him into an early retirement just like Andrew Luck.
You never, ever, ever, ever go broke drafting good linemen.
That goes on both sides but especially offense.
