can we ease up on the hindsight posts? holy fuck
yup exactly
if people want to do the whole “masai and bobby fucking suck they didn’t trade for this player” then i’m holding them to everyone we were “supposed” to trade for or draft
dame’s underwhelmed this season
aj griffin’s underwhelmed this season
nembhard’s underwhelmed this season
walker kessler has barely played (people use this against koloko having a fucking respiratory issue, i’m using it here too)
malaki branham (thad trade pick) is a negative impact player
who else am i missing
Cope, the FO will continue to be called out for the poor job they’ve been doing since 2020
Current front office wins the title in 2019. Very hard to do in a foreign country for US born players with cold climate. We were a really good team for many years before we won in 2019.
To win the title we made some trades that depleted our future assets. In the mean time the fan base got unrealistic expectations, basically expecting a title every few years. Guess what? Many teams did not win the title this millennium, enjoy this huge accomplishment. Knicks won last time in 1973; Miami in 2013, Sixers in 1983, Celtics in 2008… I can go on…
Bottom line is that you can criticize Jakob (good one) and That (bad one) trades all you want, but the fact remains is that if you need a center you need to either draft one or trade for one. The cost is always a FRP if you want a good one.
yep
they drafted one and people hold koloko’s respiratory issue against bobby and masai
they signed some in FA and complained about baynes/len/khem
they got a young prospect in gillespie and complained about him
but when we use weak draft capital to ensure one that can play right now, it’s the worst thing ever
