This happened last year in the playoffs, but I’ve seen very few acknowledge it. Teams will obviously hyperfocus on keeping the 7ft all star off the glass. The grizz need everyone else on board (literally) to accommodate. If herb jones is getting almost 10 rebounds, it’s a good indicator that someone else is losing their matchup. Watch who is grabbing these rebounds.
That being said, Grizz need Jaren to be elite in every aspect of the game.
A perfect example was the Herb Jones drive late in the game. Jaren helped to contest at the rim, but Jake didn’t focus on the rebound, so Jones got the easy board, put back, and-1.
