I consign my items at a boutique. He has about $800-1K left worth of my inventory. I don’t make much, maybe $500 a month so I don’t care about the money but the principle. He is 17 days late paying me and I don’t see that he’s paid out any other vendors (I see his Venmo). I’m professional and don’t like being put in this situation. This whole thing seems so unlike the business owner, but I’ve messaged twice on FB, emailed twice and nothing. My husband thinks they’re having personal issues. I’m gonna call today but to be honest I prefer to get everything in writing just in case. I see he posted on IG today so this is all strange. Any advice other than pull my inventory which I need to do anyway because we are moving at the end of the year.
