Honestly I’m totally fine with interceptions this year, I really don’t care, I just want to see if Love and the receivers can make better plays down the field.
Maybe LaFleur should move his second-half game plans into the first half, and then just throw away the first-half game plan entirely.
I’d like to see it broken down by score. Like when we are ahead by x amount, then behind by x amount. I’m thinking a lot of this is against prevent.
I believe it’s due to very conservative play calling during the first half of games for the most part. The exception is the dazzle dazzle trick plays they put in even though they haven’t worked for the most part. Also, the inexperience of the receivers makes being consistent very challenging as does the O line being horrible. Love needs to be better but so does the rest of the team and the play caller.
It’s like they really find themselves in the locker room , what the hell
This is my big issue with the gameplan and I believe it’s because MLF thinks he’s better than he is. Matt seems to think he can single handedly drag this team to wins. But this team is not good enough. Swallow the pride and let Love sling it around. At least you’ll find out what you have instead of protecting him. You’re probably gonna lose either way, might as well make it worthwhile.
We just need a pregame scrimmage with a local high school team for Love to hit his stride earlier.
