Idk if Willis is really that bad or they just don’t like him…i can’t stand ryan after throwing all picks against the bengals I was done with Ryan and apparently the team Was to because the drafted Willis then levis…Willis didn’t play well when he had chances… then we gave will a shot he threw 4 tds and has had the keys to the franchise given to him… I’m cool with that get us a good healthy line and another good wr (Burks replacing aj was the worse decision we have made in a while) love the rocket arm and I think we are gonna ditch ryan but now he’s number 2 now that he’s back? I would hate to be Malik right now…

It’ll be interesting to see what happens with Malik based purely on the fact that you can carry a 3rd QB now without eating a roster spot.
He’s got 2 more years left on his rookie contract and he’s only costing us 1.2m per season. Even if we go out and sign a quality vet to back up Levis next year, Malik doesn’t really have to leave unless we really just need that extra 1.2 million.
I doubt we keep him if we can get a good backup, and there’s still a chance he might go somewhere else and develop into a decent QB. He’s just not one now and that’s probably not happening here. Unless we get a dream draft that stacks the team with rookie talent leaving our cap space wide open again, he probably gets cut or traded next year.
Remember that he only ever went to Liberty because he wasn’t only not good enough for auburn but also not good enough for the P5 in general
