I’m ranked mid silver in all the roles, and it can get pretty chaotic. Some folks get really upset at hero picks and counterpicking, but at these lower levels it seems like anything can work. How important is who you’re playing as opposed to things like individual skill at that hero or general teamwork?
Imagine people showing of skill about the game that put them into SILVER and bothering to give them credit about the game in general.
Let the noisy kiddos bark about picks and meta, focus on your game and spend most of your energy into teamplay. Try to create a 3 people cooperative block and you’ll win most silver matches.
“meta” is not a term that exists in lower levels…its what the community thinks is the best at the highest skill level of play…
technically speaking it doesnt even exist in upper levels…its just a perception/subjective thing…but it sure as hell doesnt apply at lower levels where the heroes arent played properly and group dynamics arent really a thing
like who cares if say sojourn is considered meta when you cant even land her shots
just play what you feel comfortable playing
