This is obviously for re-draft only

I know it’s crazy, but we’ve seen backups come in and just pepper their teams WR1’s with targets. Obviously it depends on how your team is positioned going forward and how much you have to give up for Chase, but I have to imagine the Chase owners are in panic mode, and now seems like it would be the best time to try and acquire him.

I’m just not sure what a fair offer for Jamarr is though right now? Browning isn’t guaranteed to be the starter going forward, there’s a chance they turn to AJ Mccarron, which between the 2, I’m not sure which is better for JC. There also is the chance that Jamarrs back injury is “reaggravated” since this has 1000% turned into a lost season for the Bengals and they absolutely should be trying to get as high as they can in the draft, especially with the WRs, Tackles, and Bowers from UGA projected to go top 10-15, which are all positions of need for Cincy, especially if Higgins walks and this is their chance for a cheap young replacement (I’m a Bengals Fan in Cincy and as much as I love Tee, knowing what we know now I really wish we would have taken Carolina’s offer for him).

Cincys stretch the rest of the way is absolutely brutal, there’s a legit chance they could go 0-7, or 1-6 by beating the Colts. They have 2 games against the Steelers, at Jags, Colts, Vikings, at Chiefs, and finish up with the Browns. That’s brutal with Burrow, even more so with a backup QB. But playing from behind should theoretically help Chase, as long as he’s out there.

TLDR - Is Chase a buy low due to the possibly of his QB feeding him targets and most likely playing from behind the rest of the season, along with the fact you should be able to get him for cheap because his owner is panicking?

Cinci is out of the playoffs race now. Season’s essentially over. Chase could be shut down with his back.
