Can’t believe that Willian was on his way to Spurs, then got a text from Abramovich saying ‘the rabbit is in the hole’ then turned around to go Chelsea. Chelsea are such Entrepreneurs

    No active punishments

Both will have massive asterisks next to any titles won if found guilty, whether officially stripped.of the titles or not.

Man City is too controversial to get punished as they should be. The Ramifications are too controversial. A straight demotion to Division 1.

I expect Chelsea to eat their sanction before the current season is out. It seems Todd wants to clear the decks and close the door on Roman’s era. It’s clear that 30 points is being floated to see how it lands.

(It’s also clear Everton got 10 so they could scale up the deductions.)

I expect the PL will fail to charge Man City for some time. I feel like they should rip the band-aid off and go ahead and issue their sanctions and let City have to unfuck it rather than delaying. City doesn’t have CAS to run to. Putting City on defense is a stronger position.

If they’re not ready on all 115 charges, there must be a subset that is pretty much a slam dunk. Present those. If you can’t win there, you won’t win the rest. Lest we forget this is a sports league—at some point the violations are too far from the present to even remotely be fair. I have no hate for the fans—they deserve timely accountability and medicine-taking if necessary.
