Basically, and I think this is common, on certain tracks the game will drop to like 45fps at times. Rainbow Road for Wii is a good example, as is the new Bowser’s Castle. When that happens, not only does the framerate take a dip, the actual speed you’re moving goes down too.

I don’t REALLY care about the fps all that much, so if there’s an easy way to just ensure the game still moves at normal speed during frame drops, I’d rather go that route. Is this an easy fix or do I basically have to try to make sure the game runs at 60fps the whole time?

    Seems like yuzu’s performance isn’t all that great with its latest built. Mk8 drops often in frames compared to a few weeks ago. Maybe steamos 3.5 plays a role as well.
