Just heard this from u/The_Sign_of_Zeta and I think it’s a great idea that solves 2 issues. The idea is this:

• Refs signal the replay center to review every flop call. If something is determined a flop upon review, that tech is administered at the next stoppage after the flop has been determined.

This solves 2 issues:

1. Guys like Brunson/Dort won’t get punished for an obvious missed foul call by the refs.
2. This inconsistent “sometimes we stop the play and sometimes we don’t” kind of nonsense doesn’t occur anymore.

Obviously, it doesn’t solve the issue of actually getting Brunson/Dort the foul calls they deserved, but it does help.
