tried to reinstall GTA Vice City DE earlier today (after updating to 3.5.5) and the game downloaded just fine, as it did previously. try to open it up and it gets stuck on the “running install script” loop and effectively crashes the deck itself. if you then restart the deck, rockstar launcher will appear and install itself, and then it’ll shut down and restart.

after this, you try to open the game and it’ll run, but then error out immediately saying that the game files could not be validated and that the steam client is not running and fling you right back to the home screen.

am i doing something wrong or has (an/the) update killed a few games?
