You know the foul calls. The ones that the 9th man on a team would never ever get. The ones that when the game is sluggish and not really interesting gets called to pick things up. The fouls that even the announcers are trying their hardest not to admit are just plain wrong. The ones that get posted and have nothing but rolling eye emojis in the comments. Figure around year three (maybe two if he really gets serious minutes sooner than later) after his game is fairly well known and he has had some time to get acquainted with the different ref squads.

He will get them when the offence is run through him

Once that starts happening and he does well with it the calls should flow in his favour. Might not be so forthcoming for big games and against elite players with street cred though ie LeBron etc

The defensive fouls are on him though

He took a hit from sabonis today and learnt to fall on the ground And drew the charge.

So he can swing those negative calls and sell them into positive calls already, and sabonis is an all-star / all nba
