Hello, was changing my front brakes today & noticed a small 1cm tear in one of the boots. I’m aware this should be changed but my question is how long do I have? Both pistons still compressed fine & the pads I took off had even wear while comparing to the side with no tear. I’ve been chasing issues with this car for the last month replacing the struts, tie rods, water pump, driver side CV axle, front brakes (today) & would just like a break & some free time not spent slaving on this car lol. Would I be fine to drive on it for a couple months before replacing? I usually drive around 1500 miles a month on average. Unfortunately I do drive where it snows & they salt the roads.
