Team is tied for 10th at 5-6. Really only a single team to me while rise from below and that’s the Clippers. As to the teams above in the WC, I’d be wholly surprised if the Rockets could keep this up all season. Unfortunately the point differential is -4.5, which is the only negative in top 10 other than Lakers. Surprises to start this season with records along with Houston are Dallas at 9-3, Minny at 8-3 and OKC at 8-4. It would be nice if they would slide back to the middle of the pack. It’ll be interesting to see if the Kings can keep up as they are currently 6-4. The legacy squads (GSW, PHX and Lakers) should remain competitive in order to just make the dance.

Putting up some wins against these teams will help as the division gets tougher when Ja returns, but until then Grizz and Spurs will have growing pains for the foreseeable future.

In sum, it would be nice to put some wins together to get in the top 6. However, the West is rough as always.
