For me, if money wasn’t a limiter, I too would’ve maybe gone with a more premium spec, but doubt a different make. I was able to build a ‘22 base 718C before the markup craziness, proudly with <$4k in options (none of which were chassis/performance related) to get into what many consider one of the best mid-engine sports car platforms offered. Adding in the GT4 shifter and rowing the gears every day makes me smile. It’s not a perfect car. Which kinda surprises me, but it’s pretty close.
Oh, mines Aventurine Green, which maybe helps too. It was delivered 5 mos after build was submitted.
