Chris Godwin is one wrong turn away from winning the game for the Bucs and todays discourse about the game goes to “Bills get back on track” to “Bills give up 2 touchdowns in the last 5 mins to continue the losing streak”. I think the fallout from a potential loss would be catastrophic. Looking at 4-4, a tough schedule ahead and uncertainty about the future of McD and others. But alas, we win and we move on.

Its nice to get a W, but does this game concern anyone moving forward about how it ALMOST turned out?

Yes. The need for an OLB with good coverage skills is never higher. Can’t replace Milano, but having someone reliable is a must.

And we also need Dorsey to commit to the damn run. Cook averaged 4.8 YPC on the night, but Allen still throws in 39 times in a game we were up by 14 in the 4th?? Kill the clock and run Cook ffs.

It’s a win but idk how you’d feel any different about this team this morning. We all knew the offense can play like that lol, it’s not some dark secret. The issue is consistency and once again Dorsey got figured out in the 2nd half yesterday.

On the flip side McDermott still has no idea how to get his defense off the field with the game on the line. I still think this team struggles to make the playoffs, we have the hardest remaining schedule in the whole league.

      “Dorsey got figured out”

Aka, receivers weren’t able to break any tackles/pick up any YAC, etc. Refs swallowing their whistles on multiple penalties in the TB coverage unit (they showed replays of at least two obvious penalties on Diggs while running his route)

There is a 0% chance you’re making this comment right now if the refs rightfully throw the OPI flag on Evans’ TD catch, even with the Bills offense doing all the same stuff and winning by 14.

The only legitimate complaints I can possibly think of are, not running the QB sneak on the goal line, and not enough Cook involvement

They don’t ask how, they just ask how many.

I disagree here. I say with the exception of pretty late in the game on offense, we dominated all three phases. We had numerous 4th and long scenarios that were not surrendered by poor coaching, rather dumb player mistakes. That 2 pt try shouldn’t have been good either, that was an act of god.
