At times like this we find ourselves reminiscing about the good ol days circa 2015 or thereabouts. Hard not to live in the past when the present is bleak. A lot of players are mentioned but I feel like one that typically gets left out is Ryan Kalil. Even though our o line was trash most of the time he was always the bright spot and always dependable. Here’s to remembering another badass from that era that’s underappreciated. Also fuck Matt Kalil.
I wanted Tyler Linderbaum. We should have traded back and got him instead of Ickey. He was best lineman and closest to a sure thing in the whole draft.
Ryan is one of my all time favorite Panthers. That scene of him crying alone in the meeting room when he realized the season was over in 2016 in “All or Nothing” was heart breaking man. Makes SB50 hurt so much more.
