Quarterback contracts are obviously a very sensitive subject over in Browns land, I don’t think I have to spell out why. But for some reason, not one of them are remembering the fact that Joe Burrow actually took his team to the Super Bowl. Not to mention another AFC championship game. I’m not a Bengals fan, but if there’s a quarterback that did deserve to have the Brinks truck backed up, it was him. They are all consoling themselves with his contract, when Watson’s highlight of his two years in Cleveland was 2/4 of football. Hate to see any franchise quarterback, get hurt, hate to see anyone be injured and out for the year to be honest. But it’s pretty crazy how they’re twisting themselves into pretzels justifying the Watson contract now.
