When Reaves is the only ball handler on the floor he suffers because defenses are playing him close and his ball handling is good for a SG, but not tight enough to be full time point guard. When LeBron or Dlo comes back defenses can’t overplay too much and everything is more smooth.
Another thing is the fact Dlo has been playing well most games and is trying on defense most of the time. Right now the team is better with him on the floor.

I’m loving his playing because he didn’t really had much value after a disastrous WCF and playing well he is building up his value something that can help us on a trade. He is the kind of fools gold that will charm many stans with his regular season play, but the lack of athleticism and strength both physical and mental makes him a perennial liability in playoffs, I hope our front office isn’t charmed by his regular season offensive output like many stans. That said with the team we have we are better with him on the floor, we don’t have a better player to perform the function the main reason I don’t think this team is a championship contender as it is before the trade deadline.
