TL:DR PCM phone glitch with Android keeps calling my phone number, anybody else seeing it? Solutions?

in the last week or so both my 992 and 781gt4 have developed a weird phone glitch where the car keeps trying to dial the number of the phone being used over bluetooth, i.e. dialing itself. The calls do not show up in the phone’s native call log, but show up in the PCM call log. The calls don’t complete, but keep repeating over and over again, disrupting music over bluetooth (Amazon music) by turning off the rear speakers and subduing volume but music doesn’t stop nor can you hear any phone activity.

I don’t think there is a Porsche software update recently, but obviously Android updates are to blame. I have deleted the pairing on both ends and rebuilt them. Samsung Galaxy 21. This doesn’t occur with iPhone, i have one and tested it.

anybody have any ideas or seen a similar problem? this only started in the last week or so and i had made no changes to the bluetooth or wifi setups in the two cars. But i was surprised it affected both cars equally. GT4 has stock sound, 992 has burmester.
