Since the Season is basically over, shit happens is guess, anyone else evaluating biggest team needs and starting their scouting for the draft now ? I mean we still could sneak into the playoffs but no way we beating the ravens or chiefs in the playoffs with browning or whatever is coming at Qb sooo yeah. My favorites are Oline and Te as last year. But i thik a DT could help us aswell cause of the Contract.

and some more…
We have spent too much money on our offensive line to be this bad and to keep Frank Pollack. Pollack has utterly failed at his job. Fire him.
Draft an offensive linemen with pick 1
Don’t forget we’re yeeting Nick Scott to Jupiter and taking the cap hit
If we are picking in the 6-10 range, I would like to see us trade down and pick up extra 2nd and 3rd round picks. If we suppose we have the 8th overall pick and trade down to 23, get picks 55 and 87, you have the ability to draft essentially 6 of the top 100 players.
Some in theory maybe something like:
-
23rd: Patrick Paul (OT)
-
40th: Kris Jenkins (DT)
-
55th: Beaux Collins (WR)
-
72nd: Cade Stover (TE)
-
87th: Sedrick Van Pran ©
I just pulled a couple mock drafts and looked to see who people think will be available around those picks. These 5 would in theory bring you a new, cheaper RT, a real depth option at DT, a WR to replace Boyd/Higgins, an athletic threat at TE, and interior help on the O-line. Probably the biggest weaknesses on the team.
The tackles have been fine they need interior help get Cooper Bebe or Zak Zinter

Very deep WR draft. If the front office decides to trade Tee (should get a second round at minimum, right?) there are a number of very, very good first round WR options, including a couple from LSU. Over the past decade or so, drafting one of the top WRs from LSU seems to be a pretty low-risk strategy.
