He has not. He has not even been good. There are reasons to remain hopeful for his future, but they will require patience and or organizational improvements/changes.
Bryce has more interceptions than touchdowns, struggles to convert in the red zone, and struggles to break 250 yards passing on a weekly basis. He is 1-7 as a starter. Yes there are many reasons this is the case that are outside of his control, but at the end of the day, these are the defining metrics.
CJ Stroud is 5-4, near the very top of the league in passing, and will lead his team to the playoffs as a rookie. The last QB to do this was Luck. He’s in a different galaxy right now than Bryce. Would he be doing this in Carolina. Highly doubtful. But this doesn’t really matter.
