We seem to be playing better ball in Darko’s system when Jakob is out of the game (unfortunately) and we play mostly a small-ball, fast-paced lineup, much like Nurse tried to run before Jak was added to the roster…I’m wondering what this team would look like if GTJ started and Siakam played center… Siakam could focus on working the paint more and shooting from outside less

Just a thought, I’m sure they don’t want a guy making almost 20 million coming off the bench but the ball movement and spacing stinks when you have him out there along with other guys who can’t shoot…my thought process is, still give him 25 minutes a game, give or take, and use the small ball lineup to open and close games

I feel as though Scottie and Siakam could co-exist better in a system where Siakam could focus on what he does best, slashing, driving, and transition bucks…sure we give up some size in the paint when Jak is out but that lineup can score and would be hell in transition for opposing defenses

Maybe it doesn’t work but it seems like a better solution than having Siakam running around, trying to hunt shots off the ball while having Jakob fumble around in a system that’s not really designed for his game
