Hey everyone! I’m Ryan Heath, a new addition this year to the incredible team at FantasyPoints.com. You can find me on Twitter here.
I started writing about fantasy football back when I was a high school student, posting waiver wire analysis to this very subreddit. I spent time at QB List during my college days, and I was ecstatic to join up with Fantasy Points this offseason.
I’ve always taken a data-heavy approach to my analysis, my goal being to push forward our knowledge of this game we all love. With the support and mentorship of Scott Barrett, I’ve recently produced two major studies I’m especially proud of – Age Curves and First-Read Targets.
This season, I’ve been on rest-of-season rankings and trade coverage with my Big Board articles. With trade deadlines rapidly approaching, I’m excited to answer all your trade-related questions (as well as anything else)!
AMA!
Hey Ryan, I need line up help. 10 team, 0.5ppr.
Need to fill my RB2 & FLEX spots with two of the following, Warren, Henderson, Schultz, JSN, who’s got the upside?
I’m 3-7, most likely out, so considering sending Bijan on bye for someone like Swift or Aaron Jones+. Have to win now, would you do that? Or is there someone else you would target?
What’s the best team name you’ve seen or heard of this season?
Fields went HAM last year against Detroit, but is fresh off injury. Dobbs is a magician with a horeshoe up his ass. Which should I start this week (and what’s the deciding factor in your eyes)?
1 vs 2 matchup, and I’m off to a rough start with Andrews at TE.
Rank chase ROS!
10-team 2QB Superflex 0.5 PPR
Record: 7-3 (2nd place)
Send:
- Justin Fields
- Dalton Kincaid
Receive:
- Justin Jefferson
============================
Remaining Roster
- QB - Mahomes and Kyler
- RB - Swift, A. Jones, Achane, KWIII, Spears, Charbonnet
- WR - Lamb, Pittman, Dell, Diontae, Hollywood
- TE - LaPorta
Trade calculators say it’s either a fairly even trade or that I’d be overpaying a bit. However, I do like the prospect of having JJ and Lamb in my lineup going forward. What are your thoughts on this?
How do you create your weekly Big Board? Do you start fresh each week, or use the previous week as a starting point and tinker?
4 teams make playoff in 10 team STD
- 4th 5-5 1115.90 total points
- 5th 5-5 (me) 1110.90 total points
- 6th: 4-6 1118.00 total points
My team:
- QB - Wilson
- WR - Amon/Puka
- RB - Chandler/Mitchell
- TE - Ferguson
- Flex - Deebo
- BN - Charbonnet/Bijan/Taylor
- BN - Demario/London/Nico
- K - McManus
- DEF - WAS
- IR - Higgins
Do I have a true RB3 between Chandler/Mitchell/Charbonnet or should I look for one to flip one of my WR for?
Please help with this trade
I have k9, hall, achane, singletary and rhamondre and kelce as my te. Picked up kincaid and Hopkins (K) off waiver
Have an offer of
Pollard and Aubrey (K) (pollard owner also had mandrews)
For
Rhamondre, kincaid and Hopkins
This is 10T half ppr league
I have Tank Dell and Nico Collins as WR3 and WR4. What’s the best upgrade I could get for them in a 2 for 1?
would you start Hurts or Kyler this week, Hurts’ matchup worries me
Yeah I’d go Kyler this week
Someone dropped Goff and looking to add him for my week 13 Lamar bye, is it worth dropping someone now like Jaylen Warren, James Cook, Diontae Johnson or Taysom Hill (who I also need week 13 for Hock).
Or is it worth waiting and streaming whoever is available then and making the drop decision after weeks 11 and 12?
You can probably wait. Goff on the road against the Saints probably isn’t worth dropping those guys (unless your waiver wire is normally barren at QB).
Would you take a Fields fed DJMoore or Kenneth Walker for the playoffs?
I have a bye almost guaranteed so really looking only towards week 16/17.
Would you trust Hollywood and trade for him as well for the playoffs?
I’ve seen you get endlessly dragged on reddit every time you post your Big Board rankings (which are excellent btw)
What was one time you were right and they were dead wrong? (This is your chance to gloat about it.)
