It seems like Richardson has glass bones and even when he did play he was ok, not spectacular. I feel like we are going to waste 3-5 years of mediocre seasons and be right back in the same boat. We have been mostly stuck in a cycle of just good enough to miss out on top qbs in the draft but not a playoff threat. It’s hard to attract and retain top talent without any chance of post season success coupled with a small market and poor weather. Being a colts fan has felt a little hopeless since Luck.
Guess what I’m getting at is I would almost rather tank a couple seasons and find the QB solution than do what we have been doing since Luck retired.

Josh allen matt stafford joe burrow deshaun watson. All missed major time because of injury their rookie year. Relax.
He showed enough to know if he stays healthy he has the potential to be the franchise. He learned incredibly fast and was not nearly as raw as originally thought. Injuries may be an issue but I tend to think it was just bad luck. He’s going to most likely add some more muscle, get a little bigger and continue to learn to protect himself. I’m still excited about next year. Just sucks we kind of have another year of limbo.
I will wait until the end of next season to actually give an opinion. So far, it doesn’t look good with the injuries but I’m not discouraged. Stafford had injuries in his rookie season too and he turned out decent
