I’ve been watching the Mary and Brandon saga unfold this season. Mary is one of my least favorite people on this show ever and is truly evil in my opinion. She’s smart which makes her behavior all the worse. She’s told a few lies along the way which we know about like disconnecting her wifi. When Brandon first started talking about Mary he told us she had a college scholarship to be on the dance team and gave it up. Fast forward a few episodes and Brandon and Mary are talking about asking her grandparents for money. Mary says something along the lines of her grandfather paid for her college. Brandon corrects her and says she had a dance scholarship. Which got me thinking and I honestly think the dance team and college weren’t real. It wouldn’t surprise me if she made it up to sound more appealing to Brandon or even worse guilt him later by saying she gave up college for him. The second option is truly manipulative and I wouldnt put it past her. I’m curious what others think
The college story seems mostly weird due to the timeline and Covid- not sure when she’s saying she went but if she would have gone around 18-19 that would be the first year of the pandemic, which doesn’t track + the whole lacking any rhythm.
Mary and I are the same age. In 2018, she was just starting her first year of college. But it looks like she might have ditched uni even before meeting Brandan because there are no pics of her being still on the university on her supposed to be second year of college (2019). So when Covid came, i think she’s already out of school.
We’ve all seen her dancing lol. She didn’t have a dance scholarship. She never went to college.
she really went to college and shifted programs twice but never finished the full first year of both programs. also yes she never had a scholarship. she once slipped telling Brandan that lolo paid for her college

I think it’s also important to remember that scholarship does not equal full ride. Should could’ve gotten a few 100 from the school due to her family’s financial status and called it a scholarship.
These two need to grow up - can you imagine the life their child will have to endure?
I’d like to clarify this one. I’ve seen her pics from college and I saw the name of the uni she went to so I’m sure she somehow went to college BUT her claims of being in a scholarship, I don’t buy it. She studied in a public university and public universities here in the Philippines are almost free, as if you’re in a scholarship. Some are completely free like where I studied, but very hard to get in. You’ll be competing with hundred thousands of students from diff. areas of PH, and some public uni requires you to pay but not like, a lot (around $100-$200 per semester only). The public uni that requires you to pay a small amount of money usually are much easier to get in and has less students compared to the completely free universities.
She just claims she was in a scholarship because she studies in a public university. Also, because scholarship is synonymous to smart that’s why she keeps on bragging it. I checked her school and it’s a public university that still requires you to pay around $100-$200, that her grandpa was paying before she met Brandan.
