Doris Burke saying Huerter is in a slump (he’s been on fire) They claim Davion Mitchell is a crucial bench piece (hasn’t played in 3 games) Doc Rivers says Malik was out of the league (never was a free agent during the season) They focus on the Spurs performance way more

I noticed I didn’t have to listen to Mark Jackson so everything else wasn’t so bad

The climb. These people know nothing about the kings and I kinda like it that way. Once we get catapulted into stardom, that’s when the negative storylines and rumours come about

ESPN’s new A team. I feel bad for Mike Breen. Doc is so-so. Doris, like Kayte, boring and bad.

Feels, bruv. For context I always remember how much the Nuggets + Jokic had to do before ESPN was like “oh they’re good and he’s REALLY good.” They had to literally win a ring + 2 MVP (should be 3). A sub 500 Lakers team or Steph Curry ordering a calzone will always be top of the pops for that fucking network. The Kings would have to get goddamn Godzilla in a Draymond-approved headlock on live TV before the network’s going to take them seriously.

Inside the NBA is on when I eat lunch a lot, and I have a game I play where I just turn it on at whatever point is on in the show (sometimes the first 2 minutes sometimes the last 9 minutes, whenever) and I have a running tally of lakers, warriors, or commercial. It’s like 76% the first 2, 12% the next, and the rest is usually boston, the bucks, Philly or Milwaukee, or Wembenyama. That’s like 5 months of me casually keeping score.

Fuck em, light the beam my dudes.

Huh, I wouldn’t say they were great at announcing, but I felt they did give a lot of love to Fox. They called him Superstar several times.

I’m surprised you were able to make out anything Burke said. It’s like she fills her mouth with rocks before calling a game.

I think its unreasonable for them to know everything about the kings that has changed in the last 3 games

I thought the announcing was decent… I actually thought Doc gave great insight into Monk, Fox, Domas, and Murray. He spoke about both teams well and was entertaining to listen to.

My favorite parts of his announcing is when he critiques successful plays in a few words… kind of a coaches perspective… for example when he called out the allyoop seemingly being too high for Victor - even though he got it. He makes comments that I would make I guess
