I am from Europe and have been running a shop for vintage furniture and antiques for several years. I specialise in tables and chairs. I have about 1000 chairs and dozens of tables. I have many old bistro chairs and French style tables. I do not sell high class antiques but more country furniture. High quality, but not antiques as you might first imagine - something for enthusiasts.
People who are interested in opening a café or restaurant can create a wonderful ambience with my furniture. I restore/refurbish chairs and tables. I cut table tops to the desired size. I have had the honour of furnishing several restaurants in recent years. Would like to do this more often.
I am now wondering how I can reach people who are thinking about or about to open a restaurant. Does anyone here have any input?
I also have questions for people who have already opened a café or restaurant:

  1. we have informed you about the furniture options? Did you search for restaurant furniture on Google or just normal furniture?
  2. have you ever considered buying quality second-hand furniture?
  3. what was the deciding factor for you to buy the furniture you have now? Price? Quality? Look?
My goal is simply to find out where I can meet this potential clientele.
