I’ve never seen this written anywhere, so I’m curious if my deduction of everything I’ve observed for 10 years is true or there is more aspects to success:
-
Have a high IQ (logical/mathematical intelligence), so you can predict/visualize scenarios before they actually happen and make the most logical decisions consistently.
-
Have a high hand-eye coordination, so what you think should be done can be executed properly.
People with high IQ and/or good hand-eye coordination will say talent doesn’t exist, because for them it’s hard to understand/imagine how hard and slow improvement is for a person without those talents. However, I’m willing to bet my life that EVERY SINGLE person who actively plays the game and tries to improve (5+ games a day for years), but is stuck below Diamond lacks one or both of these talents.
