Very excited! Been hyping myself up for this for months now, every email I got from Framework leading up to it made my heart sink… and then I finally received this a few minutes ago! 🎉

I didn’t buy an SSD through Framework, looking for some solid recommendations that don’t cost the earth but are fairly fast if anyone has anything that’s worked particularly well for them? Time to ditch my tired old MacBook!

    Solidigm P44 Pro for speed and efficiency. If you want all out performance.

    Solidigm P41 for more efficiency (slower). Still excellent for daily driving.

    WD equivalents are SN750 AND SN850X respectively.

    Samsung equivalents are 970, 980 Pro and 990 Pro

    Consensus seem to gather around the Solidigm, mostly because of the efficiency to performance.
