I’m not super educated on the NBA coaching cycles. The Atkinson thing confused the shit out of me, the retread didn’t make sense but guess it was plan C or D. So now that it seems pretty obvious the team isn’t being coached well what chance do we have that the new owners will try to mix things up?

    10%. I don’t expect it to happen.

    Mitch is on his last year. He won’t be renewed. They’ll allow the new GM to make the hire. It will be a perk for the new GM to sign. “Join us and you can immediately hire your preferred coach.” That makes me doubt that Clifford will be fired mid-season.

    The problem is no one knows much about the new owners. They have some ATL connections. Coach Bud is out there. I think if it stays like this, by the all star game they move Hayward and Rozier for the best deals they can. and cut Mitch and Clifford. I’d like to an FO coach combo from OKC or Utah.
