I like others loved what Shake had to show in the preseason. But we’re 15% into the season now and Shake has been by far the worst rotation player on the team in both the eye test and the advanced analytics.
However, the Pelicans game felt like a turning point in which he was -16 in a game the Wolves won by 1. He’s now a +8 on the season for a 9-3 team that has a +75 point differential.
With McLaughlin out injured for the foreseeable future, what does the team do with Shake? Do they stick with him? If so for how much longer? Or do they give a guy like Troy Brown or Minott a real run despite the fact they are a combined 0-11 from 3 this season? Or do they throw a curveball and go even bigger with Garza? What does everyone think?
Shake is a solid player stick with it
I thought he played good last night?
We have a lot of season left for him to find his role.
