I want to walk back and back up some previously stated thoughts.

Maybe I’ve, been to harsh on Love. Although he hasn’t won alot of games and maybe his arm strength is questionable, he has won games in spectacular fashion.

Maybe LeFleurs offense is just to complicated. There’s has been record of Rodgers saying so. Not maybe not so excuseable for Love as that’s the only system he’s ever known but to the rest of the new guys maybe it’s just to much. It’s even arguable for Love that at game speed, LeFleurs offense is to much to process while avoiding 300lbs DL and WRs running poor routes. More football less thinky. Maybe LeFleur should be a coach and not a play designer and read the temp of his team.

Let’s give this rise till the end of the season, then evaluate MLF first, then Love. Bakersfield cat has moxy maybe his arm strength is a confidence thing.

I don’t understand why it’s so hard to understand that first and second year players take time to develop…why hasn’t LaFleur got these young guys up to speed in 6 games!? Why aren’t they all pros already?!

You can only do so much with the talent and their experience.

    WR

Watson - Literally has been hurt a big chunk of his career, at this point he probably has as much playing time as Jayden Reed and Wicks

Speaking of Reed and Wicks - they’re rookies, 2nd and 5th rounder respectively. To think they are just going to come in and be ready is down right ridiculous.

Doubs - he’s probably the most further along WR, plays probably like it, but is a second year 4th ROUND PICK! There is a reason a lot of 4th rounders don’t stay in the league for awhile and he is our WR1.

Musgrave/Kraft - first year players trying to learn one of the hardest positions.

Love - First year starting and as much as people are angry he isn’t further along you need to have game time experience to progress. Yes, a rookie is doing better, but that rookie was drafted 2nd and frankly feel he would get killed in GB behind our OL.

Speaking of OL - Jenkins and Tom are studs, but injured. JRJ is a JAG, Bakh is injured so you have to rely on 7th rounder.

Am I alone in feeling like the “Love isn’t it” talk is just 1) recency bias and 2) small sample size? How did everyone here forget that Love was making deep throws like this, throws with great anticipation like this, and this just a little over a month ago in his first few starts as QB1.

We know he CAN make these throws, it’s just a matter of whether or not him, the WRs, and the OL, can play well together consistently. It seems more like playcalling and confidence issues in young players to me.
