Am I right in thinking this is the final year of his contract? If so I’m hoping the FO don’t extend him and roll with JB or someone else. His late game management has cost us so many times during his tenure here.

I don’t think it’s time to let Willie go. Yes his in game skills are currently suspect but his player development can’t be overlooked. I’ve been as hard on him as anyone else but the development of our recent draft picks can not be overlooked

I’m holding on to him until there’s a disappointing season that we’re relatively healthy (could be this year). The year we made the playoffs and battled the sons was an awesome coaching job

He is a first time coach, will make mistakes too. He is from the Kerr coaching tree so it’s not surprising he prefers those small lineups too. Warriors fans criticize Kerr on that stuff too. He needs to trust Jonas more. The only reason Jonas is getting this run lately is because of no Nance and that should not be the reason.

Nah firing Willie is huge mistake! He’s in same boat Ty Lue is in LA… Nobody can grade Willie G when since he’s been here he’s only had his star guys in like 20 of 200 games or whatever insane number it is.
