Kirk is the 8th best rated QB in NFL history.

Kirk is a top 10 QB in primetime since 2014 ahead of Rivers and Brady.

Only 1 QB in NFL history has comeback 20 and 30 plus points down at halftime > Kirk.

Only 1 QB in NFL history took a team with bottom 3 Defense in ppg and ypg to the playoffs.

Kirk has played the same as Burrows in the playoffs but our defenses have played much worse than Bengals.

Kirk has 34 4th Quarter gamewinning drives/comebacks against coaches like McVay, Harbaugh, Carroll, Belichek, Peyton, etc.

Kirk since coming to MIN is top 3 in TDs Yardage and Completions.

No QB drafted after Kirk has come here has won a SB and alll the good ones are NO longer on rookie deals and make well more than Kirk.

Kirk is tied for most comebacks in a season, has the record for most 1 score wins, and has the single greatest comeback after completing the greatest 4th Quarter and OT in NFL history.

Basically everything the media tells you about Kirk is a lie: active NFL players and coaches voted Kirk the 6th best QB in the NFL and the 42nd best OVERALL player in the NFL.

      Sort of.

      https://www.si.com/nfl/vikings/news/where-kirk-cousins-ranks-nfl-top-100-the-athletic-qb-tiers

In 2023, the players voted him 42nd best player. The coaches & execs voted him the 12th-best quarterback, “taking the last spot in Tier 2. 50 voters had an exact 25/25 split for Cousins between Tiers 2 and 3.”

For some context, this is Cousins’ first time cracking the second tier since 2017. In six of the previous seven years, he was a Tier 3 guy. Just two years ago, he was ranked as the league’s 18th-best QB in the same space.

You’re coming on way too strong for a banner year for Cousins. You’re taking the 1 year that he’s getting well-regarded and then blanket calling everything else a lie. That’s not how this works. And it’s super ironic that your last sentence is, wait for it… a lie.

Sure, it’s really more of just a mixing up of the statistics you came across than a hard lie. But it’s closer to being a lie than what you’re trying to take aim at.
