NOT DANGEROUS

The people who get mugged first are people like Armando, I don’t know if he is just putting a show but the whole thing is ridiculous. Armando and Kenny, are like going to Medellin Market and living in the Roma neighbourhood (that’s where all the foreigners live) it’s also one of the safest neighbourhoods in the city. It’s not like he is living in Oceania, Iztapalapa, La Viga or even Tláhuac. I’m born and raised in Mexico City, and I can say I have visited most of the city, and Armando being all freaked out about the city it’s like no dude, you don’t know the hoods in the city.

For anyone watching I can just tell you to come to visit Mexico City, the food it’s amazing from Michelin restaurants to stalls on the street, there is a lot of night life and if that’s not your thing there a lot of museums and beautiful architecture.

I’m on episode 2 so no spoilers please!

Yes!!! Thank you for posting this. I stayed one night in Mexico City about a year ago on my way to manzanillo and I can’t wait to go back! Maybe it was the area I was in but it felt very European. Good restaurants, shopping, lots of sculptures and pretty sidewalks down the middle of streets with plants/grass on both sides. So nice and enjoyable!

I’ve been to CDMX and I never once felt unsafe. And I was going out and coming in late at night. But that’s the country mindset: “big city, scary, don’t go”
