I have a 14ALC7 Lenovo IdeaPad and want to replace the 8gb stick of ram with a 16gb one. Would there be any issues, after soldering on the new chip, with having the 16gb one work out of the box? Such as is there any specific ram I would have to buy / would the laptop even recognize the new stick of ram? Thanks!
