Hello everyone,
I recently upgraded my home built computer( GPU, CPU, MOBO). I held onto my hard drives and assumed the Windows 10 I’ve had for the past five years would work with the new hardware. I had some boot issues upon start up but bypassed this by booting in legacy bios mode. I discovered that I needed to convert my hard drives to GPT in order to use UEFI bios, which I was able to do. My computer has since been working normally.
My computer notified me that I was eligible to upgrade to Windows 11, which I accepted. It started downloading in the background and I forgot about it for a few days.
I decided to look a bit more into the update after approximately two days went by without the update happening. I noticed that my Windows Update would stop during the download and gave me an error code :0x800703ee. This issue has persisted since I noticed it~~approx. one week ago.
I feel like I’ve tried everything. Downloading Windows 11 ISO file(error message says something about there not being enough space to download update). Attempting to repair install Windows 10 (which also does not work–“we can’t tell if your computer is ready to continue”). Scanning hard drive, repairing hard drive. Running Windows troubleshooter.
I am at a loss here. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.
