I have a Samsuns Q80 QLED smart tv with a first gen Apple TV 4k. When I turn the system on using the Apple TV remote, the tv turns on and for a few seconds will show the Samsung hub/startup menu screen, before switching over to the Apple TV main screen. It’s as though it takes a moment to load the hdmi device (atv) before switching over, and makes for a sort of non-native feeling startup.

Is there any way to avoid this clunky startup process and have the tv go straight to the Apple TV screen when the system is turned on?

Any info or recommendations appreciated!
