I’m watching the Texans right now. That team has improved so much, and CJ Stroud, who went second in the draft, is a huge part of it.

That franchise was dead in the water, and now they are renewed. It can be done. But the right person needs to be drafted.

And yes, I know it’s harder to make it in New York, and all of that. But I feel like this kid would’ve made it anywhere.

How do GM’s evaluate intangibles? Is it all just luck?

Stroud came out of a much more competitive program IMHO and was used to more game pressure. Is that it? Or are the coaches on the Texans better at evaluating and using talent correctly? Or is it all just a giant crapshoot? Would love to hear others opinions on this.
