Despite the outcome, this team is already visibly better under AP than it ever was with JMD. That said, it’s painfully obvious that we need to invest into a reliable offensive line with workable depth - same thing with the secondary.

I’ll give Bo the benefit of the doubt on this game, it wasn’t his best I’m not gonna call for his head but the play calling left me wanting better. The 4th & 2 shot the end zone to Jakobi who clearly gave up on the route left me sick… run 2 slants 2 hitches and a flat just get the yards and keep the drive alive. We held our own against arguably the highest powered offense in the league. But 6 points off 4 turnovers ain’t gonna win in this league.

AOC did well, 100% confident he did better than Jimmy G would’ve. We have the makings of a playoff team in my opinion and the future is absolutely brighter now than it has been in the past 1.5 years.

If I’m AP, I take the flea flicker page out of the playbook and burn it with Maxx’s cigar. It looked like a McDaniels offense out there. AP & Graham have shown enough in three games - stout defense, team cohesion, hanging tough in a close loss - but Hardegree needs to develop a different playbook to keep his job (if he even wants it).

QB is a hole too. Glad we have a good backup, but we’re taking a QB in the first

Everyone knew last year the line needed help, and McZ did absolutely nothing. Yet another failure of that regime.

O-line played great, and our secondary did its job. The defense held an offense that had been averaging 32 points per game to 20 points, and did that with next to no support from the offense. They also took the ball away 3 times. That is much on the secondary as any other defensive unit.

The play-calling wasn’t bad, either. O’Connell simply couldn’t make a lot of the throws. He missed open men many times, and threw a very bad interception. I don’t think Garoppolo would have looked much worse.
