I have a Civic Type R. I was changing my wheels before a track day. For some reason, I guess I just assumed that you could change both wheels on one side by jacking up at either point, but clearly I was mistaken. Anyway, I changed the rear passenger, then as I went to remove the front passenger, the car kind of buckled. I just assumed it wasn’t high enough, but once I unwedged the tire, the car dropped the rest of the way onto… the rotor? Or some piece of the suspension?
Anyway, I got it jacked up again, got all tires changed, minor fender damage but barely noticeable… rotor seems fine… car seems to drive fine, though I have not gone on the freeway yet.
I want to cry. Should the car be fine? Or did I likely do major damage I cannot see?
