My average rank ranges mid masters, I don’t usually drop below or go above masters 3 or 2, but every time I play quickplay the entire lobby is gm “I know because a lot of people have open profiles that are literally gm”.So I’m sitting here wondering, what is the point of a ranked system if quickplay is just as ranked as ranked is?My casual matches take longer to get into than ranked does.I don’t even try hard to win in casual matches, this is literally just where the game placed me

    I think this is why they need to make a new quick play mode. Let unranked be for people who want to play like it’s comp just to get practice in or try another hero in a competitive setting without fear of the outcome deciding your rank and then they need have quick play be for people who are just trying to unwind and have a stress free game

    GM5/4 is plat/diamond/masters players from OW1. Don’t sweat it. They’re not good at the game, that’s why they’re adding the ultimate rank.

    QP isn’t necessarily sweatier, but you’ll be matched with harder opponents and worse teammates as it’s gonna have looser match making

    I think qp is definitely more toxic because in qp you can try out new characters and ofc you wont be amazing at them and you might not be doing so well. But no one cares about that everyone is fixed on winning that they will flame you for doing bad even when ur just trying a new character
