Coach Chou “Steak” Lu-Hsi has reached a verbal agreement with Karmine Corp to join the LoL EMEA Championship (LEC) as the team’s assistant coach, according to Sheep Esports sources.

With this move, he is set to be re-united with jungler Zhou “Bo” Yang-Bo, whom he mentored in FunPlus Phoenix during spring of 2021. Together, the team was famously known for going undefeated in the LPL prior to Bo being suspended from the league.

Teaming up with Jakob “YamatoCannon” Mebdi, Steak will aspire to bring stability to what is perceived as a somewhat unpredictable roster as they enter the 2024 season.

This wont gonna work, save my comment if you want.

Ive been following EMEA regions for years now, especially TCL and LFL and whenever a team brings a “superstar coach” it fails.

Because those coaches are used to LPL/LCK level of quality, i saw GenG coaches fail, old DK coaches fail and many more to fail and everytime its the same. They force players to play a very decent game (naturally) but the players cant do it (again naturally) because,

    1. The average league quality isnt as good as LPL/LCK therefore its not easy to play like FPX or T1 when your opponent is BDS or MAD or whatever.

    2. Western players are ignorant about the game. They dont have that much of a “deep” understanding about strategy, exploits, basically brain related stuff.

I tell you whats going on.

KC will play a few very good games, everybody will be like “you see thats the LPL diff” then other teams will figure out a few key bans, KC will start to fail, people are gonna blame some players for it. After that they will kick the coach and bring someone from EU lol. Write this one down, i watched the same scenario like more than 10 times now lmao.

The headcoach is Yamato. Steak is going in as an assistant coach, most likely to help the team work around Bo.
