I feel like there is for narrative of people saying that JDG vs T1 was the real final that’s wrong. the meta for top lane shifted towards the end of winter split top lane carries became the meta! after 23 minutes in a game, the better top laner becomes the focal point for almost every team fight! How the top laner plays after 23 minutes dictates the play of almost every game. I think the reason behind this is that Top Laners after 23 minutes will start almost every fight or have the biggest output in every team fight past 23 min because of the gold and XP diff. I truly feel like this is a point that has gone over everybody’s head, not many people understand that aren’t top laners themselves. Zeus proved to be the best Top laner at worlds!
