Well that was a great game wasn’t it? The Titans need talent period and the only way to get some more is high draft picks. The best chance for the Titans to get talent is to somehow get into the top 3 for picks. The 5 teams ahead of the Titans are #1 Panther 1-9 (Bears), #2 Cards 2-9, #3 Pats 2-8, #4 Bears 3-8 and #4 Giants 3-8

So how do the Titans get better picks is by losing and rooting for others to win. Lets see what we need to happen for week 12.

Panthers @ Titans - Panthers - This one is easy need to get the Panthers closer to their 3rd win. After the Titans the Panthers still have the 29th easiest schedule left with games against the Falcons and Packers.

Rams @ Cards - Cards - The Cards have looked so much better with Murray back. Cards have the 8th hardest schedule left in the NFL.

Pats @ Giants - Pats - Need the Pats to get to 3 wins and they have only one other game that they should be favored in which is week 18 against the Jets.

Bears @ Vikings - Bears - Bears choked away a win today that would have got them to 4 wins. With Fields back on the field they looked improved. Bears also have games against the Cards, Falcons and Packers.

Titans can not win anymore game this year to secure a top 3 pick. A 4th win will cause the Titans to start tumbling because of the high SoS they are carrying. Titans currently have a .544 SoS and there are only 3 other teams with higher SoS are Cards, Bengals and Ravens.

Top 3- MHJ or best Tackle

Top 5-10- Brock Bowers, best WR available or best tackle available

Ran has only been here a short time but I can tell he values best player available over sacrificing for needs. That was the opposite with JRob and is one of the reasons we are currently talentless. Example would be drafting an OLB when there is a generational talent at another position still on the board just because you need to fill the OLB position. It’s a cycle that keeps teams in the hole that takes huge FA signings, trades and multiple top 5-10 picks over years to get out of.

We currently have around 100m in cap space with no one to really sign or bring back except for possibly Teir Tart and SMB so realistically we can go get the best available in FA like possibly Tee Higgins and Chase Young if they don’t agree to a deal with their current team or get franchise tagged. Most of the times teams that go into a rebuild don’t have the luxury of money due to previous contracts or draft capital due to trades so we are honestly sitting pretty and if we could add some good players this offseason we are looking at a rather fast, possible 2 year rebuild.

    Okay rant over
