I know we haven’t had great success with first round O line players but I do think we need to address in the draft. With burrow out I’m expecting a pick in the 20s and there is a very real chance someone like JC Latham or amarius mims falls to there. What do y’all think

When it comes to offensive lineman we should just follow the national big board and draft the highest rated one on there. Obviously we don’t know how to scout lineman and I’m sure that’ll be a more reliable way to do it.

A pick in the 20s means that you made the playoffs, which sadly is not happening. They are more likely to be top 10 at this point. It is possible that the only remaining game they will be favored in is the Colts.

I don’t see the team meeting Jonah Williams’ likely asking price next season. Volson at least needs some competition at LG. Cappa, Karras, and Brown are all signed for next year.

The team needs a plug and play starter at RT at the very least. The first or second round pick should go there.

I don’t know if they are hanging on to Mixon or not this off-season. If not, then draft a top tier RB. Then after that iOL at gaurd.

If they use the RB more, the o-line will improve. That’s why pass heavy offenses run it more because run game helps o-line! KC and others run it more often and we see better results.

The only way forward is to stop being stubborn and do more runs.

Do you honestly trust this organization to draft (and develop) a good lineman, furthermore, do you trust throwing a rookie lineman out there with Burrow coming back from yet another injury?

They should get the best free agent out there and when you have one player commanding 25% of your payroll and the highest paid player in the league, you pay whatever it takes to protect him with proven and experienced lineman. The time to draft and develop is over, window is closing and closing fast.

I’m pretty sure we could find a Volson upgrade in the draft, RT I’m not so sure about, but there isn’t really a lot of options for a RT in free agency. In fact some websites are ranking Jonah as the best tackle set for free agency. I hope the Bengals find a way to be better at drafting linemen cause they seem like one of the worst teams at it.

Bengals also need to decide what to do about DJ Reader (he’s a free agent). Bengals dline could be much better, and we will probably lose Reader. Id be happy if this draft was all trenches, and a high-ish draft pick on RB.
